Autism Ontario seeks survey input regarding intervention planning for ASD

From Autism Ontario:

The Ministry of Children and Youth Services has asked the ASD Clinical Expert Committee (CEC) to develop a framework for intervention planning to support clinical decision-making in the new Ontario Autism Program. In an effort to represent as many voices as possible from the Autism community, the CEC has been holding several stakeholder meetings across the province, leading a stakeholder meeting to hear from leading Family Representation groups to ...discuss behavioural intervention in Ontario - past, present, and future. Autism Ontario was a part of their family stakeholder session.

In addition to attending the meeting, we have been asked to distribute a survey that asks the same questions shared at the meeting. The Clinical Expert Committee are also asking for a little bit of family information to help ensure that we have wide representation of different families with varied needs.

Please distribute this survey across all your communication channels, as they would like to hear from as many voices as possible.

In order to obtain this information in a timely manner, with sufficient time to carefully consider all responses, the survey will close on March 17, 2017.
